The AFC organised a second Filmspeak forum on 13 June, with the directors of the five short feature films funded by the AFC which were screened at the festival. Facilitated by film writer Ruth Hessey, the directors spoke about the issues surrounding making and distributing a short feature. The directors were Jo Kennedy (The Forest), Sofya Gollan (Preservation), Shane McNeil (The 13th House), and Rachel Ward (Martha's New Coat) and Matthew Saville (Roy Höllsdotter Live) whose films screened as part of the Dendy Awards. more |
